"To doubt Everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the need for thought". (Henri Poincare, Science And Hypothesis)

My Video Work

I don't know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me. About Me

    My Photo
    Nicholas Whitaker
    Brooklyn, NY, United States
As an avid reader, listener, watcher, consumer, and producer of media; i speak not from a position of hypocrisy but one of adoration. I claim no position other than that of a concerned citizen of this world. I feel there is great potential for positive social change through media, but as with any extension of ourselves media is subject to the same negative motivations and tendencies that we as individuals are prone to. It is the job of the producer to be socially conscious when delivering their message, and the job of the consumer to educate themselves as to the motivations behind these messages, question their deeper meanings, and the possible deleterious effects of consuming them. I am a student of media, culture and communications, of epistemology, philosophy and the struggle to remain true to oneself. I am a soldier of the war on oppression from any source. I support open source, creative commons and the barter system, recycling and paying it forward.
