Naked Cowboy Waxes Poetic

Rare is the occasion that you can truly say you are surprised by your work. Unless you work for www.theresident.net .
I'm surprised by my work almost every time i go out with Lori to shoot in the streets of Manhattan. We've shot in some of the crappiest, wettest, and coldest conditions New York has to offer. We've talked to some of the most narrow minded, and some of the most enlightening people, all of them plucked from the streets of New York. Like this guy.
I've lived in NY for quite a few years now, and I've seen Naked Cowboy doing his thing whenever I'm in Times Square. Most of the time I play the part of the hardened and jaded New Yorker, scoffing at this spectacle and writing it off as Times Square bull shit. But let me tell you, this dude is the real deal.
It's humbling to have a guy in nothing but boots, a hat and a pair of tighty whities stand proud and tall playing his guitar, as you shiver in three layers of clothing and a fuzzy hat while trying to simultaneously shoot video of him and not get hit by traffic.
Is he crazy? I don't know. Is he for real? No doubt in my mind. Watch the video below to get a dose of inspiration from Naked Cowboy himself. You the man Naked.
