January = catching up

Ah January. It's always the month where i suddenly realize that all my procrastinations have finally caught up to me, my finances have nearly gotten away from me, and over all i have a crap load of things to get up to speed before i can really tackle the new year with and sense of serious pride.
 In the last few weeks between Xmas and today, i've been quite busy. Productive... meh... maybe not so much, but busy.
 I have a lot of cool things I've been bookmarking and setting aside to show the word, interesting insights and little ah-ha moments collected in note book and camera phone, as well as links to great sites everyone must check out.  But, before all that...allow me to give you a short list to chew on few a few days of great items from the vault that you may have missed.
